Soup

1. Play dates with soup
Yesterday we had Shelby, Tanya, Ethan and Johnny over for a play date. I also made more soup which my boys LOVE. I am so grateful that I finally found a way to get protein in their diet. They will be eating this everyday for awhile!! Here are some pictures of the play date. I always have so much fun hanging out with them.

2. Last purchase of formula
This morning we made a trip to Kroger to buy formula for the last time. I am trilled to say the least. My Kroger gas points will be missing this huge purchase...but trust me...this is exciting.
.
3. Extra clothes and disposable diapers
This morning Owen peed through his diapers so the boys were in daytime clothes even before breakfast3w. (Those who know me well...know I usually keep pajamas for awhile). The Owen pooped through his diaper so I changed him a second time. While that whole process was taking place...he peed on the floor. Yes..awesome. Then when I got Cameron up from his nap I noticed he was getting me wet while holding him. (So I had to change as well) This all happened before 10:30am. I am not quite sure how I was putting diapers on incorrectly...but I guess that I ended up figuring it out.
.
4. Shopping carts
The last two days I made quick trips to Kroger and I just put the boys into the cart and let them sit and play. It actually worked out well. I am happy that I won't always have to take the double stroller. Doing all the of buckles in the winter does not sound fun.
.
5. Apple orchard
This afternoon we took our first trip to Tuttles Orchard. It was fun to pick apples and spend time with Tanya and the boys. Cameron and Owen fell asleep in the car so afternoon nap was ruined but it was worth it to get out of the house and enjoy this beautiful day.

Monday

1. Blue blankets
Very grateful for these blankets. Owen especially loves his blanket. He spots his blanket and grabs it up and then he finds Cameron's blanket and grabs that one as well. We love these blankets!!

2. Monday nights
I have been loving my Monday nights. Today is sort of a different one than normal but it was still wonderful. I went on a run, crawled around with the boys, took a shower, I am doing laundry while I watch Brothers and Sisters, and now doing the blog. I will be in bed shortly....and yes...I still love my Mondays.

3. Washer and Dryer
I think that I might smell pretty bad if I didn't have a washer or dryer because I would probably wear clothes numerous times before I washed them. Really......could you imagine....it would suck to not have a washer or dryer.

4. Brothers and Sisters
Oh my gosh...I am so happy that this show is back on. That is really all I can say.

5. Cameron loves to crawl
Here are some pictures of Cameron and Owen crawling around and playing with each other. They just got back from being in Chicago and Cameron was a new, crawling machine. It was so fun to watch and I am grateful that my mom was here to enjoy this time with me.

Fall Weather

1. 5 mile run
I don't even really know how to begin...yesterday I did a 5 mile race. Yes...you read that correctly. The advice I got from my mom was, "just run really slow" and my sister, the runner, was telling me all the races she did after having Sawyer so I should be ok..... Regardless of that advice I LOVED it. My competitive side came out and it was great. Good thing I ran 4 miles on Friday so it wasn't too bad...looking forward to another race.

2. Bazbeauxs and Wine
I must clarify what made helped convince to me to run....pizza and wine at the end. You can't get much better than that.

3. Ashley
I was able to hang out with Ashley for a little bit yesterday and it was great to catch up. I have not seen John since the wedding so I am still missing him.

4. Chilly morning
This morning my house is 66 degrees. It is a little chilly out but will warm up as the sun comes out. I love this type of weather. This year the fall has started out well!!
.

5. The boys
I am obsessed. They are interacting with each other and laughing at each other....it is so much fun.

24 hours

These past 24 hours have been great.....here are some pictures of our lives.

1. Bath time with Gabe
We had dinner with the Liechtys and they invited us to take baths. This was actually a life saver for me. It is a handful to do baths by myself so it was great to have company. I was laughing so hard at the boys and it was such a wonderful time with Holli and Andy. This first picture is great because it just captures how crazy Cameron was being...Gabe is just looking at him like what is with you buddy. And for those readers who don't know Gabe, he is 17 months old. What a wonderful dinner and a great time with friends.

2. Crawling
So not only what is a great time at dinner....Cameron crawled a few steps. Before bath we set the boys up to take a picture and the picture below is the only picture that we got. Once Owen started to crawl away I set the camera down. Cameron decided to start crawling towards the camera. I was sort of in shock and kept pulling the camera away from him. I eventually made him cry so we decided enough of that and we put the boys into the bath.

3. Ethan's drain is out
This morning I went with Tanya and Ethan to Riley. He got his drain out and is still doing great.
.
4. New teeth
Today I noticed that Owen's top two front teeth showed up for the party. He has been a little more fussy and not loving his bottles so I knew they were trying to make an appearance.
.
5. Afternoon pictures
I have saved some stick on mustaches from the party a few weeks ago and I decided that today was the day to capture the pictures. I laughed and laughed....hope you enjoy as much as I do.

11 Months

1. Missing pictures
I found these pictures that were taken back in August that never made the blog. I am sure there were captured during one of my "off" weeks. Just another visit with grandma.

2. ONE MORE MONTH
The boys are 11 months today. I am excited that soon I will be able to see the boys while I am driving and no more formula. That means that I entered the hospital a year ago...wow how time goes by quickly.
.
3. Jogging Stroller
I love the new stroller. Today I took the boys on a walk and it was great. I guess I should of tried actually running....

4. Ethan is doing GREAT
Ethan is home and I was able to see him this morning very quickly. I am so thankful that his surgery is well and he is running around playing again!
.
5. The weekend
I can not even remember the last time that I had a Saturday night with no crazy plans. When the boys are gone I am either at work on Saturday, have an event, or something that has been scheduled for weeks. I am not working this Saturday and I am trilled. I might go out for drinks with friends but I will home before midnight I am sure. Wow...I am excited to be boring.

First thing

1. Cameron is moving!!
Yesterday the boys get home from Greg's and Cameron is moving way more than before he left. It was pretty exciting. I called Greg and he even said that he found Cameron sitting up in his crib! Both boys have physical therapy this afternoon and I am looking forward to telling Julie all about it.

2. Dancing
I love when I make up songs and dance around the room and both boys stop playing and start dancing with me as well. They do the sit dancing...it is so cute.

3. Ethan's surgery
Ethan is having surgery today and I can not get him off my mind. I am glad that they finally got it scheduled, that it is outpatient, and that he will do well.

4. Afraid of strangers
My children are completely afraid of strangers....usually just strange men. It is actually pretty funny. I don't know if I have posted this before because every time it happens it makes me laugh. They get so scared and Owen just plants his face into my chest, grips me as hard as possible, and does not move. Cameron just stares at the man and screams.

5. Surprise Party
On Saturday we had a surprise 60th birthday party for my dad. It was a beautiful night and lots of fun to sit back and relax.

6. Work
I had to post this extra number 6 because this weekend I worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Saturday night I was laughing so hard that I was crying. Work is hard sometimes...more emotionally hard than anything...and being able to laugh with coworkers at 3 in the morning makes the night so much better.

Playtime

1. Morning Jog
Yes...you read that correctly...I went on a jog this morning with the new jogging stroller.

2. Quick break
Last night my parents came over and kept the boys occupied so I could get out of the house for 45 minutes. Just that time alone is refreshing. The boys fell asleep immediately after going down. My parents wore them out!

3. Good old fashion play time
I took these pictures a few days ago during our "lazy day." They do so well just playing by themselves...and together. It is fun to watch them explore and learn.

4. Peanut butter and jelly
I am going to have this all time favorite for lunch today and I must say that I am pretty excited.
.
5. Remote control
Yep...love the remote because I am WAY to lazy to get up and change channels. And now with DVR and fast forward...wow...how could you not be grateful. That is why losing the remote sucks!

60 years

1. Salsa
A friend brought homemade salsa for the party on Saturday. This afternoon I found a tiny bit left in the fridge and decided to give it a try. Holy moly was it good. I wanted to keep a few bites for my mom to try but an hour later I could not stop thinking about the salsa and had to go back for the rest. Wow...yum.

2. Lazy day
The boys are staying in their pajamas all day. They have been playing, catching up on sleep, and more playing. It is nice just to stay around here and have a lazy day once in awhile.

3. New TV
So all the terrible shows of the summer are almost over. I will admit, TV watching has not been that much fun. I don't really have time to watch TV but I am looking forward to better entertainment.

4. Cameron
Cameron took a short nap today so I brought him into my room for him to watch the ceiling fan. We just sat and played while Owen slept. I love how you can tickle him and he just laughs and laughs. He is so stinking cute. I am obsessed with my kids. Obsessed.

5. Dad's 60th Birthday
Yesterday was my dad's birthday. We are a pretty lame group and celebrated my dad's 60th birthday out to dinner. Time got away from us this summer so we never planned a party. It was great just to spend time together and take the boys to their first restaurant. At dinner the boys did great. They spent their time watching everyone walk by and throwing food on the floor. They never made a fuss and they fell asleep in the car ride home. I love these pictures of the boys...they crack me up. Happy Birthday dad!

Busy Busy Busy

1. Saturday
Saturday was GREAT. I woke up way to early to get stuff done...but I had a great day. It was Amy's bachelorette party at my house so I just spent the day getting ready for it. Here are some pictures from the night. The first ones are at the end of the night when almost everyone was gone. I am sure you can tell we set the camera up on the mantel. The last picture was from earlier in the evening. Can't wait for the wedding!!

2. Refinanced
It is finally done! I refinanced the house. It felt like the process took forever...glad it is over.
.
3. Jeans
I bought new jeans this evening. I haven't bought this size jeans in awhile. Not only is that exciting but I have been wanting these jeans for awhile so I am pretty excited.
.
4. Jogging Stroller
Steph got the double stroller for me. SOOOOO excited. Now I just have to actually run. I did run on Friday before work....but not since then. We will see how this goes.
.
5. My life
I am so grateful for my life. I have been super busy hanging out with my friends, spending time with the boys, and just loving life. I love my job, my family...just very lucky.

Counting Crows

1. Labor Day
We were able to spend a couple hours at Aunt Pam's pool yesterday. The boys never took an afternoon nap and instead spent the time in the sun. They crashed and were asleep at 5:30pm for the night!!

2. Finger Foods
I am pretty tired of baby food so I have been endlessly trying finger foods. I tried black beans and thought that the boys were loving them. Little did I know Cameron was hiding them in his seat!

3. The animal is gone...hopefully
There was something in the wall or under the bathtub...something scary. So I called my dad and he came over and now whatever it is...is gone. So basically I am grateful that there isn't something creepy back there anymore. He didn't even do anything. The ghost or whatever is just gone.
.
4. New pandora station
I listen to pandora ALL THE TIME. To be honest I was getting sick of my regular stations. Yesterday a new station was started...and I love the change.
.
5. Crawling
Cameron has been a little behind but everyday he is getting closer and closer to crawling. Today I found him on his hands and knees rocking...twice...on his own!!!

The windows are OPEN

1. Friends
Yesterday Ashley and Steph both came over to visit. I couldn't get my exhausted self out of the house so it was nice to have them come here. Ashley brought Panera for lunch and Steph brought over pasta, salad, and wine for dinner. She also brought fresh flowers. What a great Saturday!

2. New rooms
Owen's crib is now moved. The boys have their own rooms. It is working out well for them. I am personally a little sad about it still.

3. Cheerios
If someone came into my house or looked in my purse...they would think that I was obsessed with cheerios. It might be a true assessment. These little things are amazing. They distract the boys and almost immediately make them stop crying and keep them occupied. I am finding them in the oddest places.

4. The weather
It has been beautiful out lately. I have been able to keep the windows open and this morning it was actually cold in the house. Anyways, here are pictures of the boys this morning in their pajamas and hooded sweatshirts.

5. Babysitters
This weekend my Aunt Pam came over to sit. It was nice to have her here to play with the boys and take care of them while I was at work. Thank goodness for wonderful family!

Sleep

1. I've seen that face before!!
I got this picture of Cameron this morning while he was playing in the tent. When I saw the picture it immediately reminded me of a picture that I have seen of Greg. Wow.

2. He is ASLEEP
Every time Cameron would fall asleep I would be so happy that I needed to take a picture. This first one is in the guest room...his new room. The one below is him sleeping in my bed.

3. The house is put back together
My dad worked very hard these past few weeks and I now have beautiful new floors in my kitchen and living room. Last night we finished bringing the furniture back into the rooms and I am so thankful not only for the floors (that goes without saying) but also that my house is put back together.
4. Amy and Patrick
They stopped by unexpectedly last night and it was great to see them and catch up. It made me miss working days because I felt like I had not seen Amy in a long time. Thanks for the visit!

5. Walks
This week the weather has been great. I was able to walk with the boys by myself and we also walked with Sarah and Steph.

**This was taken during nap time...you can see from the tears in his eyes he was not too excited to sleep.
