December!!!

Finally getting down to post again.  The boys have been at Greg's house a lot these past few months and for some reason life never slows down.  It always seems to speed up.  As the boys continue to learn and grow it is hard to sit down and write some of these crazy stories down.

Cameron's imagination is in full swing.  The past two days the boys have started to put each other to bed.  They each take turns and go through the whole routine of needing water, wanting more songs, having to go to the bathroom.  I have tried to stay back, let them play as brothers and friends.  This back fired a bit.  I had water all over both beds.  They accidentally spilled it EVERY TIME.

Here are some photos....instead of doing 5 random things...maybe I will just add a few stories and captions.

On Monday we went to the park.  It was beautiful out.  I turned around and I saw Owen with his pants down.  When I went over to talk with him about this he had a huge grin on his face and said, "I am making the grass grow."  In his defense, I think that he was running over to me to tell me that he had to go.  And yes....he doesn't have shoes on.  Don't ask.  It is some type of "thing" that all four boys do at this park.

Really....does my elf picture need more explaining?  Now the candy cane....Owen thought that the angel wanted to hold one.  (And I guess the elf wanted to hold the angel)

They ate most of the candy....including sucking off the strips on the peppermint balls and then placing them back on the house.

Watching "Elf of the Shelf"

Owen up EXTREMELY early and watching cartoons in my room.  Can it get much better?  Yes....if it was at 7:45 maybe...

These two pictures were taken within seconds.  As you can see, Owen made a necklace by coordinating the colors and doing patterns.  Cameron didn't.  He just sat and played.  Such different men.

Last but not least....Thanksgiving.  The boys were at Greg's house and I had dinner with my family.  It was nice to sit and be able to spend more time with Sawyer and Eloise.  I usually have my kids at my heels or in the bathroom...or something.  On Thanksgiving I was able to hold, play, and even change diapers!  The last picture is how my Thanksgiving ended up.  Cookies, milk, and a movie on demand.
