1. I only worked 3 days this week
I have been picking up extra hours at North so that I can pay off the Honda. This week I decided to NOT pick up and I am so happy that I took a break. I have been at North a LOT lately. Though I have a great job....right now I am very bored at work. Very bored. It has been refreshing to only work a few days and I am looking forward to another day off tomorrow.
2. Change in plans
I am still trying to figure out my New Years Resolutions. I know...I am way far behind. I decided to scratch the 70.3. I would end up doing 5 hour training days in the end and though I wouldn't mind the challenge--this is just not the time to be away from the house all morning on the weekends PLUS work all week. I am still trying to figure out if I have any big goals for this year but right now I think that I am still in survival mode with three boys and that is alright with me.
3. Jack is feeling better
This weekend was rough for SBJ. He was puking everywhere and pooping through multiple outfits. It was so gross. I personally had to change sweaters twice. I kept him home daycare on Tuesday (we ran errands together) and I think that he is FINALLY through the worst of it. He is a lot like Cameron.....when he is sick he keeps playing. He stops to puke and then just keeping plugging along. So gross.
4. Asleep before 7pm
Last night the twins went to a movie with my parents, Bruce, Sawyer and Eloise. When they got back they changed and went immediately bed. They were both asleep before 7. Since Jack was with me all day he only napped for an hour (I know--I suck)....he was in bed by 545!! So last night at 7pm all the kids were in bed. It was amazing. Mike and I watched a documentary and we were not far behind them. Tonight the boys were all in bed by 715. The kids are absolutely exhausted and we have an EARLY 610am wake up time so this sleep is much needed.
5. One day SBJ will hold his own sippy cup
One day -- but not yet. He absolutely refuses and gets pretty pissed off when you even suggest that he hold his own cup. Not only that but he drinks (I can see him swallowing) but he also spits the water back out of his mouth around the sippy cup. I know that one day he will be a fully functioning sippy cup toddler. And I am grateful for that day.
