I originally put these pictures up with every intention to post in the month of May. It is only the first day of June....but I wanted to do 4 posts in May.
The boys are done with school, I am transitioning into a new job at work, and I am grateful for rain so I don't have to water the garden!
I need to post about these rocks. Rocks are such a MAJOR part of our life that I am not sure how I will ever forget...but I am sure that I will. Sooo....I need to post. My children (especially Cameron) LOVE rocks. Every time we walk in and out of the gym we (they) collect them. (usually I try to leave them there next to the side walk but sometimes Cameron DEMANDS I put them into the diaper bag. ....and let's be honest...taking a few rocks is much easier than having a melt down at the gym door.)
They collect them on every walk, at every play date...basically everywhere. Rocks are always in the car seats and scattered in the garage. When we leave the house....as we are driving down the streets the boys yell, "goodbye home! goodbye rocks! goodbye big rocks! goodbye little rocks!" They do the same at the gym. When we are playing outside Cameron moves his rocks from the bike, the car, the wagon, boxes...ext. Rocks are basically the IT thing right now.
Oh how I love Shelby. I feel like she keeps my feet on the ground and my head up. I am so grateful for her friendship and her spur of the moment fun nights. To be honest...I never want her to get married and have a baby because then she can't just show up for a glass of wine!!
