Four

I am going to try and be better about doing the blog.  Right now the boys are "trying" to take a nap.  Actually I guess it would be better said that I am trying to have them take a nap.  There was a major addiction to pacifiers and so I decided that last Saturday we would stop cold turkey.  It has been interesting to say the least.  The sleep schedule has been entirely thrown out of whack. Right now the boys are exhausted but can't settle down into their cribs.  I do my best to wear them out every morning and naps are now a hit or miss.  We are also waking up incredibly early.  I will be starting another large cup of coffee here shortly.

Easter was a hit this year.  The boys REALLY enjoyed coloring the eggs and we had more than one Easter egg hunt.  They also loved all of the treats.  **Though in a few pictures down you will see that immediately on Easter morning Cameron asked me for a banana.  So while Owen was making a mess of his new found love, Peeps, Cameron sat and started his healthy morning breakfast.  Oh, don't worry, I didn't let that last long.  I made bacon and eggs for breakfast.  Needless to say, no one touched the eggs that morning!

I can't think of any new happenings except this paci business.  I have actually gained 4 lbs...yes FOUR POUNDS from emotional eating.  The stress, lack of sleep, and multiple melt downs makes me turn to the Easter candy.

Hopefully by the next post this will all be a distant memory and the 4 lbs are GONE.

March...in a nutshell

So I guess we should look at a bit of March.  A LOT as happend.  A. LOT.  Cameron got his second set of tubes and his adneiod out.  He has been sick for the entire month.  The boys have learned to ask "What's that mommy?" over and over without taking a breath.  And I turned 30!  Here are some of the photo highlights of the month.

** He was asking "What's this mommy?"  It was a picture of a basketball.

 This was Cameron's plate.

 And this was Owen's plate.
Enough Said.

He was crying because The Lion King was over.

When they say "cheese," these are the faces that I usually get.  So freaking cute!

The morning at the hospital.  Cameron came back with an IV and a little bit of morphine on board.  I had no idea that he was going to be getting an IV.  Ignorance was bliss in this situation.  If I knew he would be getting an IV and pain meds I would of been sitting there freaking out more than I already was.  Anyways, he got back to the room after an HOUR and I was able to sit and hold him while he slept on my lap.  It was a wonderful 30 more minutes.  Hopefully this helps him turn a corner and he doesn't need tubes for the third time!

2/26...HOLY MOLY

THIS WAS WRITTEN ON 2/26.  I NEVER WENT BACK TO FINISH.  I DECIDED TO NOT EVEN GO BACK AND READ BUT INSTEAD POST THE PICTURES....AND WHATEVER WAS WRITTEN...HALF FINISHED.  AHHH....SUCH IS LIFE

1. I am writing the blog
I know, I know....it has been awhile.  And trust me.  You will be disappointed in the few pictures that I will be posting.  They sucks.  BUT good news...I am updating a bit of information about our lives.  It has been a rollercoaster of 2012 for me.  It will be interesting to see what else in has in store!

A quick note about this picture.  The boys argue about where I sit on the couch and who gets to sit next to me and cuddle with me.  Cameron usually doesn't mind sitting alone so when he actually asks I feel bad not choosing to sit next to him.  Owen starts to cry a bit more dramatic so at the same time I want him to stop.  Oh...the life of a mom.  Hahaha

2. Play dates

short. sweet. tired

We have been busy as always.  Because we are constantly with the twins and they are starting to potty train...we have started to play some in our house too.  I got a lot of pictures of Owen trying to figure out how he will sit on the potty...but I think that this one is the best.  He set this whole thing up in front of the TV.  It was cracking me up watching him walk around naked getting Cooper (the bear) into his potty, ext.  He never ended up peeing yesterday afternoon but CAMERON DID.  Yes.  You read that correctly.  The child who is terrified of the potty...actually did the deed.  Tanya told him that he had to go in order to get into the bathtub...and it worked.  Success!!  Not going to lie~I am nervous for these months ahead.

Friends.  Thank you.  Family.  Thank you.  Here is a quick shot of me and Shelby being silly last weekend at Laura's house.  Friends. Thank you.

This is the size of my coffee every morning.  This is actually half gone.  I don't drink the entire thing everyday.  The end.

Best Friends

This will be the first day this week that we have not hung out with Ethan and Jonathen.  My boys are obsessed with them.  Obsessed.  They are all getting to an age were they are starting to play well together.  There are more moments that Tanya and I can sit back and actually talk.  It made the week go by very quickly and I am looking forward to another week like this next week.  **Not to mention the weather has been WONDERFUL~helps when the kids can be outside!**

They all had to find a hat and a ball.  Goofy boys.

So I think that I should forever do a shout out to my parents.  Thank you for being wonderful.  For feeding us, making sure our car starts, and for making sure I am emotionally stable.  Thank you for taking care of us!

One last thing this week.  My friend Emily has a new blog with tons of great giveaways.  Since she is brand new to trying out "blogging" then not many people try to win the stuff.  Here is the name of her site with a link.  I think that you should check it out.  If you do...let me know what you think.  She is one of my oldest friends so of course I am biased and obsessed but curious what outsiders think too.
