Cameron got into these WAAAYY to small pajamas on Friday night and this picture was taken on Sunday afternoon. He actually stayed in these pajamas until Sunday after nap time when we went out to play in the leaf pile. The pants are 3T and need to be taken out of rotation. We even wore pajamas and slippers over to my parents for dinner on Saturday night. It was that type of weekend. We didn't have any plans and it was wonderful.
Side note: My mom and I beat Mike and my dad in Euchre. Just thought it should be documented.
2. Mike
My husband was a beast this weekend. He installed new windows, cleaned and organized the garage, and then did all the leaves. We also had a fire going all day today. Always impressed and always grateful for this man.
3. Halloween
It was a freezing cold night on Friday. We ended up just going as the four of us in our neighborhood and grateful that we stayed close to home. The boys did FANTASTIC. Owen was the child running between houses while soon into the evening Cameron asked to go home. They both plowed through and we did the same route we did last year. Because of the rain, snow, and bitter winds there were not that many families out. Glad that we had this great night together.
4. The leaf pile
This afternoon while the boys and I took a nap Mike made a HUGE leaf pile. After naps we all went out and got the leaves into bags. The boys helped some but they mostly played football and wrestled. Eventually Cameron said that he was thirsty and hungry and asked for a juice box and Popsicle. I agreed, because one last joy of summer is completely worth it!
5. Gap sweatshirt
I consider myself a saver and have a hard time (sometimes) spending money. Last week I purchased some maternity clothes on gap.com and on Saturday I received a new sweatshirt. I am in love. I had it on when I showed Mike and he said, "You will wear that for the rest of your life." I agree.
One last thing. I am 26 weeks. Hooray!! Things are going great as far as my pregnancy goes. Jack is kicking a ton and I am feeling pretty healthy. I am feeling more tired than normal but I think that is to be expected….right? Either way, I would still say that my pregnancy is going great. Cheers to 26 weeks down!
